What happens when you get the invitation.

The driver gives your details to their operator

When the driver creates their assignment on Mobiris, the operator enters your name and phone number as their guarantor.

You receive an invitation code

Mobiris sends you an invitation code by SMS or WhatsApp. Keep it — you will need it to sign in.

Sign in with your invitation code

Go to app.mobiris.ng/guarantor-self-service on your phone or browser, or use the Android app. Enter your invitation code to access the assignment details.

Confirm your details

Review the assignment summary, confirm your full name and contact details, and upload a photo if the operator requires one. Done.

Common questions

What does it mean to be a guarantor on Mobiris?

You are confirming that you know the driver and are vouching for their commitment to the vehicle arrangement. Your details are on record with the operator as part of the assignment.

Am I financially liable?

Mobiris captures your identity and your consent as a guarantor. The specific financial terms of your guarantee depend on what you agree with the operator — Mobiris records it, but does not set those terms.

Can I see the driver's payment progress?

Yes. If you download the Mobiris app and sign in with the credentials from your invitation, you can see the assignment summary and payment status.

What if I did not consent to being a guarantor?

If you receive a Mobiris invitation and do not recognise the driver or did not agree to be their guarantor, do not confirm. Contact us at support@mobiris.ng or WhatsApp +234 805 310 8039.
